Mechanical Design Engineer - OPEN POSITION

  • Design air-cooled heat exchangers per customer specifications and American Society of Mechanical Engineering Codes.
  • Prepare design calculations and customer drawings for the above scope of work. This includes creating the tube layout, running American Society of Mechanical Engineering Code calculations for box headers and designing the fan drive.
  • Check designs and drawings of other Mechanical Design Engineers.
  • Communicate with sales, customer, shop and detail drafters.
  • General knowledge of welded steel fabrication practices.
  • Good drafting skills.
  • Computer skills must include Windows, AutoCAD, Excel and Word. Knowledge of and experience with Autodesk Inventor is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of American Society of Mechanical Engineering Code (Section VIII, Division 1), American Petroleum Institute 661 and American Institute of Steel Construction.
  • Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of 10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prefer the candidate have knowledge and experience with AutoDesk Inventor, in addition to AutoCAD

 

Welders - NIGHT SHIFT 5:00 PM to 3:30AM - OPEN POSITIONS

STRUCTURE  FITTER  WELDER – NIGHT SHIFT 5:00p.m. to 3:30a.m.

  • 1 year experience as fitter welder --  Lay-out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble structure
  • Proficient in blueprint reading for layout, selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding; Ability to clamp and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding. 
  • Ability to set up equipment, wire feed and voltage, welds parts, using arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment.
  • Ability to operate cutting torch and plasma torch.
  • Ability to grind, chip weld splatter, high spot, burr, and rust from surfaces of structure components.
  • Must pass American Welding Society 2g Plate Test and Canadian Welding Bureau. 

COMBINATION “A” HEADER WELDER

  • Prefer someone with leadership skills and 2-5 yrs header experience
  • Weld metal parts together using mig, tig, stick, and sub-arc welding or any three listed in this combination of arc welding processes to fabricate or repair headers or header subassemblies.
  • Must be able to interpret weld symbols and weld procedures.
  • Perform thermal cutting / carbon arc gouging and grinding. Must pass American Society of Mechanical Engineering Weld Test/Tests as required
