Sub Arc Welder (Dual Wire) – Night Shift (5:00p.m. to 3:30a.m.)
- Must pass ASME code test and horizontal SMAW/GMAW plate test
- Welds trunions to end of headers and positions header using an overhead or jib crane
- Turn cranks or pushes buttons to align electrode on welding head over the weld joint
- Loads reel of electrode wire onto machine and threads electrode wire from reel through feed rolls and welding head
- Grinds welded surfaces as needed
- Adjusts machine setup to vary size, location, and penetration of bead
- Layouts, fits, and tacks work pieces together
- Prefer 2 years experience
Structure Fitter Welders – Night Shift (5:00p.m. to 3:30a.m.)
- Must be proficient in blue print reading
- Must pass AWS welding test
- Lays out, fit and weld fabricated and forged components to assemble structural forms
- Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, fan blades, bearings, and work them to test free movement.
- Bends and installs pipe for lubricating systems
CNC Machinist Operator – Night Shift (5:00p.m. to 3:30a.m.)
- Set up and operate numerical control machines or machining centers to perform various machine functions such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching of metallic and nonmetallic work pieces
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences
- Mount, align, and secure tooling, attachments, and work piece on machine using overhead crane
- Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position tool holders in machine spindles as specified or inserts cutting tools in specified machine magazines
- Load control media such as tape, card, or disk, in machine controller or enters commands to retrieve preprogrammed instructions from database
- Capable of proper set up, interpretation and verification of correctness of program to be used on machine
- Calculate and set machine controls to position spindle in relationship to work piece and to regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow
- Manipulate controls and enter commands to index cutting tool to specified set point and to start machine
