GEA Rainey Corporation has added a weekend shift in the Structure and Header Departments! This shift offers the equivalent of a 40 hour work week but only requires 36 hours of work (4 hours of attendance pay). Working hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6 am to 6:30 pm. Header Leadman – Day Shift Prefer 2-3 years experience in manufacturing supervision Knowledgeable with ASME code welding (pressure vessels) Require excellent communication skills, good leadership and motivational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and people
Header Saw Operator – Day Shift Sets up and operates Metal Sawing Band saw to cut metal stock to dimensions Reads job order for specifications such as material, type, and size of stock, and dimensions to be cut Obtains and transfers stock to machine manually or by operating a forklift or overhead crane
Header Combination A Welder – Weekend Shift - Must pass ASME code test and pass a 6G pipe and horizontal plate test
- Ability to weld parts together using GTAW, GMAW and SMAW
- Prefer 2 years experience
Header Fitter Welder - Day Shift Must pass ASME weld test Must be proficient in blue print reading Ability to layout, fit and weld fabricated and forged components Ability to set up welding equipment for the type of material being used Prefer 2 years experience
Header Sub Arc Welder – Night, Day and Weekend Shift Must pass ASME code test and horizontal SMAW/GMAW plate test Welds trunions to end of headers and positions header using an overhead or jib crane Turn cranks or pushes buttons to align electrode on welding head over the weld joint Loads reel of electrode wire onto machine and threads electrode wire from reel through feed rolls and welding head Prefer 2 years experience
Maintenance Technician – Night Shift Perform monthly inspections as preventive maintenance on all production equipment, recording all discretionary adjustments or repairs with follow-up reporting to Leadman or Manager Repairs and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment by cleaning, lubricating and making required adjustments as needed Requires mechanical background with some carpentry skills Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematic drawing for pneumatic and hydraulic systems Prefer 1 year related experience
Structure Plasma Operator - Weekend Shift Must be proficient in blue print reading Cuts metal plates and structural shapes to dimensions, contour, and bevel specified by blueprints, layout, work orders, and templates Lifts, positions, and clamps metal stock onto bed of machine Positions work pieces manually or by using overhead or jib cranes
Structure Fitter Welders – Weekend Shift Must be proficient in blue print reading Must pass AWS welding test Lays out, fit and weld fabricated and forged components to assemble structural forms
Structure Layout Worker – Weekend Shift Must be able to read and interpret blueprints Read tape measure Ability to mark lines, holes and dimensions on work piece
Assembly / Industrial Painter – Night Shift Must pass Pulmonary Function Test and wear respirator Select premixed paints, or mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint Other job responsibilities as Assembler Drills, taps, or reams holes; aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together using hand tools or portable power tools Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, fan blades, bearings, and work them to test free movement Bends and installs pipe for lubricating systems
